CIST will have collection bins stationed on the Tacoma Dome plaza from 5:30-8:30PM where concertgoers can drop off donations. On-site donors are eligible to be entered to win prize packages including tickets to upcoming Tacoma Dome events, merchandise, and ticket upgrades.
Community members and P!NK fans alike can support the supply drive even if they are not attending the September 4 concert. Donations can be made online here.
“We are thrilled to partner with the Tacoma Dome to support our community’s students,” said Nicole Jackson, Director of Development & Communications at Communities In Schools of Tacoma. “By collecting school supplies at the concert, we can reach a wider audience and make a significant impact on the lives of local children.”
P!NK is playing two shows at the Tacoma Dome on September 3 and 4 as part of her Summer Carnival 2024 Tour. Limited tickets may be available.
"With nearly 40,000 fans converging on the Tacoma Dome for P!NK’s concerts, we were inspired by her incredible commitment to uplifting children and adolescents and wanted to reflect that here at home,” said Adam Cook, Tacoma Venues & Events Director. “Our partnership with Communities In Schools of Tacoma for this stuff-the-bus school supply drive allows us to support students and help ensure every child has the tools they need to thrive."
The collected supplies will be distributed to students in Tacoma through CIST’s programs and partner schools. The goal is to ensure that every child has the tools they need to succeed in the classroom.
