As part of the next steps in the recruitment process, the public is invited to attend the City Manager Recruitment Community Event on Thursday, February 26, 2026, at 4 p.m. The event will take place at the Tacoma Dome (2727 East D Street).
The community event is designed to give residents an opportunity to hear directly from the candidates and share feedback. During the program, finalists will deliver brief presentations on their qualifications and vision for the City Manager role, followed by questions from City Council members. A community meet-and-greet will follow, allowing attendees to engage with the candidates and provide written feedback which will be shared with City Council to support their decision-making.
The City anticipates sharing next steps in the recruitment process following the completion of these interviews and the community engagement event on this page as they become available.
Free parking is available at the Tacoma Dome in Lot A, with ADA parking available in Lot K. Please enter through the Lower NW door. Click here for directions and parking details.
