Security

The Tacoma Dome® is committed to creating a safe experience for all guests. Security screening is in place for all events. Guests are advised to arrive early and to only bring essential items to expedite the entry process.

Security measures include:

  • Metal detectors at all entry doors*
  • Clear Bag Policy**
  • All bags are subject to search
  • No outside food or beverages
  • Weapons, including pocket knives, are prohibited

*If you are unable to go through metal detectors, you will be subject to a pat-down search. Any guest declining to be searched will be denied entry.

**The Clear Bag Policy does not apply to consumer or trade shows. Examples include RV and home shows.

 

Electronic Dance Music (EDM) Events:

Additional safety and security measures are in place for EDM events. Please review the Guidelines & Prohibited items list before arrival to expedite the search and entry process.

IF YOU SEE SOMETHING, SAY SOMETHING™

The If You See Something, Say Something™ campaign encourages the public and frontline employees to identify and report any indication of a threat to the proper law enforcement authorities. To report suspicious activity, see your nearest security guard, staff member or local authority or call 911.
