Clear Bag Policy

GO CLEAR FOR SAFETY

The Tacoma Dome has a clear bag policy to expedite entry and reduce touch points for security staff and guests.

Tacoma Dome Bag Policy

  • Bags may only be clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC, sized 12" x 6" x 12" or smaller
  • Small clutch purses are okay if sized 4.5" x 6.5" or smaller
  • One gallon plastic storage bags are okay
  • Tacoma Dome clear bags are available for purchase at Stocklist Goods
  • A limited amount of Binbox lockers are available for rent outside the venue for most major events on a first-come, first served basis. Rental fee is $10-$15 (subject to change). Card only, no cash please.

Please note: The clear bag policy is not in place for consumer shows. Examples of consumer shows include RV shows, home shows, craft shows, etc.

Why do you have a clear bag policy?

Clear bags allow our security team to quickly assess your bag during the security screening process while minimizing person to person contact and the need for bag searches.

Can my bag be transparent but tinted?

No. Bags should be 100% clear, colorless plastic, vinyl, or PVC. Color tinted, glitter, or mesh bags are not allowed.

I don’t have a clear bag but would like to bring my personal items in with me. What are my options?

If you don’t have a clear bag, Tacoma Dome clear bags are available for purchase at Stocklist Goods online or in-store, at some Tacoma Dome events, or a one gallon plastic storage bag, such as a Ziploc bag, may be used.

What if I arrive and my bag does not meet the requirements?

Binbox Lockers will be available for rent for $10-$15 to store your personal items while you attend the event.

Can’t I just put smaller bags inside my 12” x 6” x 12” clear bag?

No, only individual items may be placed in your clear bag and you cannot place smaller, non-clear bags within your clear bag.

Are diaper backpacks or bags allowed?

Backpacks are not allowed. Diaper bags that are clear and fit the size requirements are allowed.

What if I have medically necessary items?

Exceptions to the clear bag policy will be made for medical devices too large or bulky to fit into the bag size limitations.

Guests who require ADA or medical accommodations are encouraged to contact Guest Services ahead of time so a representative may assist you in planning your visit. If you have any questions or concerns once on-site at the Tacoma Dome, please speak to the nearest Guest Services Supervisor. Items not adhering to the bag policy may be subject to additional security screening.
